After talking with the boys in the lab, we finally wrangled a clip or two for the site.

Diary of Decision

Heart Transplant (half of the Doc Dixon Double Decker)

Sound effects not included ...
Let me give you a little background into the way we do business around here. This clip may result in a new company motto for DixonMagic: "Customer first. After that? Goofy fun." Me and some of the guys (Eric, who shot the footage, Adam, who's to my right and Matt who's to my left) got together a while back to shoot some video for the site. So we grilled burgers, had some fried parmesan zucchini (from my garden) and shot the bull. Then one of us said, "Hey, what's all the video equipment for?" Oh, yeah we're here to "work". So we sit down to shoot the video.

A few weeks later Eric sends me this clip. I can tell he's somewhat apprehensive about it, worried that I won't like the goofy sound effects. I think they're hilarious and reflect the attitude that one should have in what is SUPPOSED to be a fun business: selling magic. If you think the sound effects are over the top, that's fine. Humor is an individual thing. If you're really bothered by them and feel the need to vent, perhaps you can channel this energy by working on your 43rd version of an ace assembly.

Remember our other company motto: "Don't just sit there. Buy something."

Memory Aces (found in MonkeyShines Volume One)
Another great video of a headless magician doing magic ... so popular with the kids on YouTube
